Finally! A Badgley Mischka wedding shoe with a lower heel! When I first got engaged I knew I wanted to wear blue shoes with my wedding dress. I’m not a heel wearer, usually wearing flats or low wedges every day. I bought a pair of Badgley Mischka Lacie shoes in navy a year ago, thinking I could definitely get used to wearing 3 inch heels in time for my wedding. A year later, even though I’ve practiced, I still dreaded having to stand in high heels during the ceremony and pictures. Then last week I was searching and just happened to find these. Badgley Mischka shoes are so gorgeous, and this pair is even prettier than the Lacie. The brooch on the toe is super sparkly and has a vintage feel. The navy is a deep shade of blue, not too dark. The best part is the heel. At 2 inches I feel confident walking and standing in them. I did find the sizing for these to run larger than other Badgley shoes. I’m a true size 10, and in the Lacie I had to size up to an 11. I ordered the Petrina in 11 and had to exchange it for a 10. I also added…
What a beautiful shoe! I was so excited when I received … What a beautiful shoe! I was so excited when I received them – like a kid on Christmas morning! Unfortunately, they were WAY too big. I wear a size 8 in all footwear so I of course ordered a size 8, yet there was almost an inch-long gap behind my heel. I had to return them and ordered a size 7. These give me the snug feel I need to make sure my heel doesn’t slip out of the shoe when walking. It’s a tiny bit narrow so I’ll probably have to wear them around the house to give them a bit of slack before wearing them out.Otherwise, this is an extremely comfortable shoe, the satin is flawless and the brooch is beautiful. The heel is high enough to make me feel sexy and low enough to keep me from walking like a baby giraffe! Can’t wait to wear these on my wedding day!!!
